Movie: Extreme Prejudice

I am a sucker for 80's action flicks. I watched this one last night. Sure, it was no five star film but fucking entertaining (especially when accompanied by beer). Most Walter Hill movies fall into that category.

The best part was the actor who played the gay kid from "Revenge of the Nerds" shooting people with a machine gun. Yes, it's true.

Movie: Killing of a Chinese Bookie

I just finished this movie last night. It's far from perfect BUT it's easily the best Cassavetes movie I've seen yet.

Sex, violence, excellent acting, 70s weirdness and a great trailer too.

Music: The Mind Soundtrack Update

"I did that?"

For those of you that didn't know, I recorded a bunch of analog synth stuff a while back for a horror movie soundtrack. It's called "The Mind" and is directed by my friend Issac Williams.

Earlier this week I spent the day with Issac as he is in the process of editing the movie. It was really amazing to see edited scenes of "The Mind" with the music I recorded well over a year ago. To say I'm pleased with how my music is working out as a soundtrack would be a major understatement.

The movie is looking great so far. Hopefully Issac will be able to wrap it up soon.

I think there will be a new trailer soon. In the meantime here is the second teaser trailer (below) which features the ANGEL OF DECAY song "Face Print." However, my music for the final film is all original work.

REGURGITATE

I am a fan of Happy Tree Friends and Swedish Grindcore Assassins REGURGITATE so I was very pleased to find the above clip.



I designed the REGURGITATE logo and their 2002 EP "Hatefilled Vengeance" (above). I highly recommend that EP, and even more so, their next two full length albums "Deviant" and "Sickening Bliss."



They also made the cover into a very cool shirt (above). The shirt is sold out but you can find them on eBay from time to time.
