As posted on the Bloodlust! Blog: "The tracks for The Nightmares 7-inch have been edited and mastered and they will be heading to the pressing plant this week, after a last couple of "test runs." Jonathan has completed the artwork for the sleeve, so this release is on track for a mid- to late-August release."

"Work has been completed on a Nightmares C-30 cassette that utilizes the SCTL methodology to create a dense, dark synthscape. This release will be pro-duplicated and released in an edition of 100 copies in August. The CD tracks are nearing completion and we should have more news on that release soon..."

The Museum of Porn in Art collection

My friends at The Museum of Porn in Art just put an amazing recent exhibition online. It consists of some mind blowing selections from their own collection including Philippe Fichot (above), Joe Coleman, Robert Mapplethorpe, Charles Gatewood and much more.

This stuff is not only NOT WORK SAFE, some of the included art is pretty damn extreme even by my standards. So be careful who you open these links around kiddies.

Superjail (again)

I am anxiously awaiting Superjail Season 2, which is in the works I have heard. In the meantime, I finally got around to watching this great interactive version of the Superjail pilot episode. I have to give Cartoon Network some credit for the really cool programming on this page. If you haven't seen the episode before you MUST watch it straight thru before clicking on the commentary buttons.

We finally have some graphics for the NIGHTMARES project. I designed the logo and obviously the image is adapted from my latest painting "Case 2.7."

Operation X-70

New Painting - Case 2.7

I finally got a new painting done. I think it was worth the wait right? RIGHT!?! Well, I'm pretty pleased.

The title is "Case 2.7" and it is 10 x 8" acrylic on canvas.

My productivity in the painting department has been slowed by music. In spite of this I still manage to have one or more paintings in the works at all times. I hope to have a ton of these small pieces done by the end of the year. Maybe they would make up a solo show? Definitely a new chapbook anyway.
